Software that runs a production changes constantly. Until now, the record of how VEMS changed lived in internal notes, in support threads, and in the memory of whoever happened to notice. A platform that studios, producers, and vendors rely on to move real work through a real schedule should keep an accurate, running record of what was asked for, what changed, and what was released.
From today, VEMS publishes what it releases, in two places chosen to match who needs to read them:
A press room, open to anyone
The press room carries company news: milestones, announcements, and changes to how VEMS operates. It needs no account and no login. Every release has a permanent web address, so a link you share today still works a year from now, even if the wording is tidied up later.
A changelog for the people doing the work
Product detail belongs with the product. Signed-in users will find a full changelog inside VEMS, organized by month and split into three plain sections.
- Added: Something that did not exist before.
- Improved: Something that already worked, now working better, faster, or in more places.
- Fixed: Something that was wrong and is now correct. Fixes are published as carefully as features, so you always know where a problem stands.
What to expect from here
VEMS will publish as things happen, rather than in quarterly batches, and will write these notes for the people who use the platform rather than the people who build it. Where a change affects how you work, we will say so plainly.
